Dinosaurs lived on the Earth for 135 million years. They appeared 200 million years ago and they disappeared 65 million years ago. They were the largest animals ever to live on Earth, and they ruled the Earth for a very long period of time. Dinosaurs lived in North America, in Africa and in Europe. During this time, the land in North America was under a large shallow sea. Many dinosaurs lived in the water which helped to hold up their great weight. The early dinosaurs walked on two feet, and they ate meat. The later dinosaurs were larger, walked on four feet and some of them ate plants only. But, why did dinosaurs die out? My neighbour Mrs. Karima is a very good woman. She is a librarian. She works in a place that is full of books, magazines and dictionaries. She helps the students to find the books they read. Everyday, students come and borrow books.
She writes down students’ names. She tells them when to bring the books back. She puts the books on shelves to be easier for the students to get them. She makes sure that everyone is quiet and puts the books back on the shelves after they had finished them. Her students like her. They always say that she is kind and helpful. She never gets angry. When there’s a problem, she usually smiles and thinks carefully. Students learn such habits from her.
